Temple Of Heaven

 

I am not in China though I took this picture a pagoda building with the feel of a strong China. 

This is a duplicate similar buildings located in Beijing. Temple of Heaven. The building is located in the east coast tourist area of ​​Surabaya, precisely Pantai Ria Kenjeran or now better known as Kenpark.

The Top Of The Temple

 

The whole temple was made of brick red, except for the steps and the inside roof of the stones. In relation to form a roofed gate, Bajangratu Temple facing both directions, that is east-west. The height of the temple to the top of the roof is 16.1 m and a length of 6.74 m. Gate Bajangratu have wings on the right and left.

Bajang Ratu gate or also known as the Candi Bajang Ratu is a gate / relic temple in the village of Majapahit Temon, District Trowulan, Mojokerto, East Java. 

The building was probably built in the 14th century and is one of the big gate in the heyday of Majapahit. According to the Heritage Preservation Board Mojokerto, temple / gate serves as the entrance to the shrine to commemorate the death of King Jayanegara in Negarakertagama called "back to the world of Vishnu" in 1250 Saka (circa 1328 AD). But actually before his death Jayanegara this temple used as a back door of the kingdom.
