Salt is one requirement that is complementary
need for food and a source of electrolytes for the human body.
Although Indonesia is a maritime country, but efforts to improve
salt production has not been popular, including in efforts to improve
quality. On the other hand, for the need of good quality salt
(calcium and magnesium content of less) many imported from outside
country, especially in this case of iodized salt and industrial salt.
