When Love Must Choose

My anxiety increasingly being

This picture shows the other side of Ngliyep beach. The beach is located on the shores of Indian Ocean, precisely in the village Kedungsalam Donomulyo district, 62 km from southern city of Malang.

Cangar is a village that is 15 km north of the town of Batu. This area is located at an altitude of 1000 meters above sea level. Cangar have cool air and fertile soil are producing vegetables and fruit potential in East Java. Apple, strawberry, potatoes, carrots, cabbage and others thrives in this area.

Menyongsong Fajar di Puncak Ijen

 

Arloji di tangan menunjuk angka 3 dini hari, sepagi itu saya sudah siap keluar penginapan sederhana di lereng gunung Ijen, Paltuding namanya. Tempat dimana segala aktifitas pendakian ke gunung Ijen dimulai, tempat dimana pengunjung wajib lapor ke pos penjagaan, tempat dimana kendaraan kita parkir, tempat dimana kita mendirikan tenda dan istirahat sesaat, tempat dimana kita bisa makan minum di warung sederhana.

The Other Side Of Madura Again

 

Belum lama ini saya mencoba bernostalgia, nyebrang ke Madura via penyebrangan Ujung - Kamal (UK) dengan kapal feri. Dalam bayangan saya setelah adanya Jembatan Suramadu (JS) keberadaan jasa penyebrangan ini bakal kehilangan pamor dan perlahan-lahan akan redup sebelum kemudian ditutup. Ternyata perkiraan saya salah. Penyebrangan UK masih diminati warga. Buktinya antrian panjang kendaraan bermotor dan penumpang masih terjadi (apa karena ini hari Minggu dan banyak warga Madura yang mudik). Meski tidak sepadat dan seramai dulu ketika JS masih belum dibangun.

Madura identik dengan kegersangan, semua orang tau itu. Tapi tahu kah anda bahwa dibalik kegersangan itu Madura menyimpan banyak eksotisme didalannya. Satu diantaranya adalah eksotisme pertaniannya.

Minggu early morning beberapa waktu lalu saya sudah melintas diatas jembatan Suramadu. Selepas jembatan, tepatnya di perempatan desa Alang Alang arah Kwanyar mata keranjang saya yang jelalatan tergelitik oleh satu penampakan yang memukau.

Computerize dalam Musik Masa Kini

Meyebut Scorpions (grup band) kita pasti ingat Jerman. Tapi di Jerman grup band bukan cuma Scorpions. Ada banyak grup band disana, salahsatunya adalah KRAFTWERK (pembangkit tenaga listrik). Nah, nama yang satu ini mungkin masih belum begitu familiar untuk sebagian pecinta musik di negeri ini. Wajar, karena genre musik yang diusungnya sedikit "tak lazim". Kalau Scorpions bergenre rock, tapi Kraftwerk lebih ke arah techno.
